Due to the continued growth as well as several large projects, we are looking for a person with a technical and sales background to join our team full-time for this versatile position as Service Delivery Manager.
Operations Department
Place within the organization
Position SDV is a function for customer implementations and customer service. This function reports directly to the Operations Director (OD) and indirectly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) or in his absence to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This function has, together with the other responsible persons within the company, the data center operators as direct subordinates. The function works together with the data center operators. The function is the internal point of contact within the operations department for the various locations including support for sales. External contact is with auditors, suppliers and to support colleagues also with customers. The function is not part of the management team.
Job description
The function has the task to manage and execute the necessary activities for customer implementations and service and to ensure that all customer installations meet the legal standards and work optimally in terms of stability and availability. Other important elements that fall within the scope of the function are customer SLA management as support for the facility department, cost effectiveness, security and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
Area of Responsibility
Operational responsibility:

You work closely with the OD and organize the operations department together with him. You ensure that the operations team is motivated and committed with clear objectives. You ensure that all customer installations are managed according to the instructions of the suppliers.
Facility responsibility:

You support the facility by following up and coordinating their activities. You ensure that power monitoring and monitoring per customer is present. You support facility by integrating common systems that can be used at all locations. You provide support for the facility with their requested reports when necessary.
Service delivery responsibility:
- Support, design and implementation of customer requests where and when necessary. Support the management team by bidding to customers. Act as a technical and operational interface between the data center and the customers. You ensure that the quality of the service delivery works is always at the maximum level and act as a second pair of eyes for the OD and the COO.
- You regularly evaluate the efficiency of the data center in relation to customer installations and manage adjustments in consultation with the OD and the COO in case of deviations.
- Ensure that you purchase customer installations at the best conditions and ensure approval from the OD and the COO. Manage and support and follow up subcontractors and own staff by implementing and guiding approved solutions.
- Use technical expertise and experience to devise methods to reduce costs in customer installations and for the electricity bill. Come up with ideas to make it easier to achieve the SLA standards. Propose corrective actions and manage these in accordance with the facility, the OD and the COO. Design solutions for possible upgrades and build-outs
- You continuously develop your function in relation to the needs of the customer and management and optimize it where necessary.
Process responsibility:

Ensure alignment with external regulations. Develop and implement guidelines for customer installations as well as for aspects such as troubleshooting, change management, dedicated follow-up of activities and timely status reporting. Support management by updating their quality systems in a timely manner to obtain or maintain their certificates.

Act as a technical expert for the sales department and in negotiations. Support in tenders when requested and required. Take the advisory role on technical matters for the management team. Help in performing the tasks described above and take the lead in this. Due to the 24/7-365 business and associated necessary support, you will participate in a hans-on duty that will take place on a rotating basis, this in order to always be able to serve our customers.
Profile

You are an ambitious analytical person with a higher education in electromechanics and/or have experience in working with electrical installations, cooling techniques and/or relevant maintenance work.

You are customer-oriented and preferably have already gained your first experience in sales.

You have an interest in and knowledge of HVAC technology, electricity, power generators, UPS installations, data cabling and access control.

You are fluent in Dutch/English.

You can get by well with Word and Excel.

You are preferably stress-resistant in crisis situations and have a hands-on mentality.

You are in possession of a category B driving license.
