We process your personal data only for a certain purpose and to the extent permitted by law. We explain below in which cases we collect and use your personal data. If we do not receive your personal data directly from you, we will also inform you below.

When you use our Customer Panel, creating your account is based on your consent. You can always revoke your consent by having your account deleted.

With whom do we share your personal data?

4.1 In principle, we share your personal data with no one but the people who work for us, as well as with the suppliers who help us in the processing of your personal data. Anyone who has access to your personal data will always be bound by strict legal or contractual obligations to keep your personal data safe and confidential. This means that only the following recipients receive your personal data:

yourself;

your employer or business partners, but only when necessary for the purposes mentioned above (e.g. when your employer is our supplier or customer);

Our employees and suppliers; And

Government or judicial authorities to the extent that we are obliged to share your personal data with them (e.g. tax authorities, police forces or judicial authorities).

4.2 Your personal data will not be sent by us outside the European Economic Area (the European Economic Area consists of the EU, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland). We will only disclose your personal data outside the EEA if you or your employer, as a customer or supplier, have branches outside the EEA with which we need to communicate. If a transfer were to take place, we will take sufficient safeguards to protect your personal data when transferred (e.g. by concluding an agreement on the basis of standard contractual clauses drawn up by the European Commission).

How long do we keep your personal data?

5.1 Your personal data will only be processed for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes described above or, when we have asked you for your consent, until you withdraw your consent. In this article, we provide you with the information you need to assess how long we keep your personal data identifiable.

5.2 As a general rule, we will de-identify your personal data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes described above or when the retention period, as explained in this article, has expired. However, we cannot delete your personal data if there is a legal or regulatory obligation or a court or administrative order preventing us from deleting it.

5.3 We will retain all personal data we collect through our websites for as long as necessary to represent the legitimate interests mentioned in the article3.1 or until you withdraw your consent. We keep technical information such as our server log files for up to 6 months after your visit to our website, after which they are deleted or de-identified. Messages you send us via the contact form will be retained for as long as necessary to process and follow up on your question, request, comment or other input. We also keep an archive of so-called tickets that we have received via the contact form. Tickets that we have closed, we remove or de-identify no later than 5 years after closing. Information about your surfing behaviour (e.g. user ID) we do not keep for more than 26 months after your visit to our website, after which they are deleted or de-identified.

5.4 For all personal data that we collect as provided for in article3.2 in the context of a contractual relationship with you or the organization you represent, the general rule is that we collect this data for the duration of the contractual relationship and at least up to 7 years thereafter.

5.5 All personal data that we collect from us in the context of your application, we retain for the duration of the application process and, if we choose to hire you, for the entire duration of your contract with us and up to 10 years after termination of the contract. If we do not choose to hire you, but we have invited you for an interview, we will retain your personal data for 5 years after the assessment process has been completed. If you agree to include your personal data in our recruitment reserve, we will retain your personal data for 5 years after receipt of your personal data.

5.6 We will retain all personal data that we collect when you visit us for as long as necessary to represent the legitimate interests mentioned in the article3.4 or, if you have used our Wi-Fi network, until such time as your personal data is no longer necessary in this regard. We consider this retention necessary up to 12 months after your last access to our Wi-Fi network.  We will keep identity and contact information and other information registered as part of your visit for as long as necessary to manage our business activities responsibly and professionally. We do not keep this data for more than 2 years after your visit. We do not keep cctv footage taken during your visit on which you are recognisable for more than 1 month after recording the image, unless there is a legitimate reason to keep these camera images for longer.

5.7 All personal data that we collect through our interactions with you via telephone, email or other digital communication channels is retained for as long as necessary to communicate with you, but also to be able to keep a historical archive of our communications. This allows us to return to previous communication when you come back to us with new questions, requests, comments or other input.

How do we protect your personal data?

6.1 We take technical and organizational measures to adequately protect your personal data and maintain its quality. We continuously improve this protection in accordance with technical developments. We use a range of physical, electronic and administrative measures to ensure that your personal data is secure.

6.2 The images recorded and stored via video surveillance or other image recording are protected from manipulation and other forms of unlawful processing. Only a very limited number of people have access to these images.

How can you exercise your rights?

7.1 You have a number of rights under applicable data protection laws.

You have the right to be informed about the way we process your personal data. That is the purpose of this privacy policy;

You have the right to access and access your personal data and ask for the data to be corrected or updated;

You have the right to ask us to delete your personal data, to object to its processing or to restrict it, or to have it transferred;

If you exercise any of the above rights, we ask you to provide us with a copy of a valid ID (e.g. the front of your identity card) to verify your identity. We also ask you to clearly indicate which right you wish to exercise. Always indicate in what context we have obtained your personal data, so that we can process your request quickly and carefully.

7.4 If you repeatedly make the same request and clearly cause inconvenience, we may refuse these successive requests or charge you an administrative fee to cover the costs. We may also deny or grant you the right to access your personal data only partially if such access could disproportionately harm the rights and freedoms of others, including ours.

7.5 You may also use the above contact information if you are concerned or wish to complain to us regarding the way we process your personal data.

7.6 You also have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.

Changes to this privacy policy

8.1 We reserve the right to change this privacy policy on our own initiative. If material changes to this privacy policy may affect the processing of your personal data, we will communicate these changes to you in a way that we normally communicate with you (e.g. via e-mail or via a message on our websites).

8.2 We invite you to view the latest version of this privacy policy online. Our online privacy policy specifies the date our privacy policy was last changed.
